New Spring Stuff!

Ok, I said on Monday that I was posting new earrings and rings, but I'm a little late. I have a good excuse, I promise. I have been working into the wee hours on my new spring line for my retail locations and am just strating to list some new stuff on my ETSY site.

Penny Glass Girl Update

Why haven't I been updating my blog lately? Because I have been busy working in my studio - lame excuse I know.

Here's a pic of my work table, taken for a recent "show your workspace feature" which will appear on another blog soon (I'll keep you posted).

The table is pretty functional and is where I spend most of my time. I also have a space for metalsmithing, a place for display and a desk for my daily activities - I'll post them later.

The time has come, Penny Glass Girl is growing and branching out! Now, my shop has expanded beyond Penny Glass Girl and I have opened up Penny Shop Girl to showcase my glass and bead creations.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.....

Ok, not really, and I can't stand all those people who start humming Christmas Carols in October. However, for all the artists and designers out there, we know that Christmas planning has been going on for quite some time, and I do have to admit that it is fun - even if it is a little early for some.

I decided that I was going to be a little low key this year for Christmas.Having a seven year old and a three year old around on the holidays is enough to draw me away from work a little (they are so fun!). That being said, the next month is shaping up to be pretty hetic:

Look for my work now being sold through Shop Girls in Toronto (1342 Queen Street West) a very funky(and addictive) place to shop!

I am also having a private showing of my work, and will be selling at the Brampton art fair www.bramptonartfair.com on November 22nd.

Back to work.....

Ok, summer vacation is now a distant memory and I am back in the full swing of things.

I am getting ready for the Clothing Show this weekend, here's the link - www.theclothingshow.com and have lots of new items on the go including new 100% recycled glass pendants. I'm very excited to show them off but no pics yet, they're still too hot -ouch!
