New Items For Fall!

It's been a while since I've been able to post new work. Major construction and renovation delays have made working in my studio difficult these days, so I am thrilled to have had the chance to produce some new work over the last few weeks (finally!) and get it listed (finally!). The idea for these new necklaces have been running through my mind for quite some time, it was such a relief to actualize them and so satisfying to see them in reality. It's such a great felling when a piece turns out even better than I pictured:)

Back after a little pause.

I'm back to work and to my little blog today after a brief pause in my work schedule during which I was able to take a week with my husband for a little R n R at the beach.

I intended to turn on the computer and jump back into emails, really I did, but my computer seemed to disagree. Nevertheless, this this week just too beautiful to stay locked up, so I took a little time for myself including a little jaunt in the park and took some photos of the Cheery Blossoms. It was just the little kick start I needed to get the creative juices flowing and motivate me into getting some new work done.

Roses

Today I decided to play a little bit with my camera. I liked the light in my office this morning and chose to snap a few pics of the beautiful roses my husband had delivered. Husband travels frequently - very frequently, so it was a nice little surprise to be reminded of how nuch I like the guy when these showed up.

I buy flowers for myself every week, never roses. I usually go for several different varieties of flowers and create a mix, but these are gorgeous and I couldn't help but squeal a tiny bit when I opened them.
